thats just crap! it's a stinking game. i kill everything and anything in it. why? because i think it's funny. would i go out and do it in real life? umm NO!! do i think haitian's are all drug dealers and scum that need to be killed NO!! there an enemy gang, and nothing more. i swear people need to grow up and get a life. i can think of 100 more important things to protest then some stupid game. and when u come right down to it thats just what it is A GAME!!

With the risk of sounding.. well.... a bit gay, I have to say: where the hell are the parents in these cases?
Games and violent music themselves can't make a person so psycho that he/she goes out and tries to kill people. These "youngsters" clearly have some issues, why not try to prevent these horrible acts instead of trying to find someone guilty afterwards? In this case, the game industry. Wake up goddammit! ...go rent "Bowling for Columbine" or something. Ahh, felt good to let some anger out, I hate this shit.

This is freaking ridiculous. I am cuban, and on haitain missions you also kill cubans. Am i upset? Fuck no, It just showed how two gangs that hated each other. Its really fucking ridiculous that the haitians would be mad about this. It shows haitian GANG MEMBERS dealing drugs. It makes not reference that all hatians are.

To be honest, I doubt that most Haitians could care less. It's just the kind of filler article newspapers like. The only sources seem to be two 'community spokespeople' ... I can't find any of this angry internet community implied in the article.

Rockstar must be pleased though ; a bit more publicity for the double pack on XBox

Wow, how true. This reminds me of that time when Italians were stereotyped as gangsters and people started mocking them, harming them, killing them, and persecuting them left and right. Oh wait, THAT NEVER HAPPENED!

Things like this are actually quite funny to me. Not only do they boost the recognition and sales of the games these people hate, but they make their own ethnic or special interest group (in this case, an imaginary coalition of "Angry Anti GTA Haitians", lurking SOMEWHERE on the internet) look like a load of self-rightous morons. Don't they have better things to protest other than their own non-existant issues?

Since the bad guys in the end of the game were black, Italian, and Cuban, then Vice City is offensive to blacks, Cubans, and Italians. Since the lawyer was a whiny Jew, this game is offensive to Jews. Since police would pull you out of your car and start kicking you (police brutality) if you merely bumped into them and then pulled over when they turned their sirens on, this is stereotyping cops and is offensive to them. Since the radio had a commercial where gay guys like Crusty Brown's Ring Donuts, this is offensive to gay people. Since the game depicted fat guys lying on towels on the beach, this is offensive to fat guys lying on towels on a beach.

Jesus F. Christ, the whole goddam game is a stereotype of the 80s! That's what makes it so great! Those morons just want some time in the spotlight.

in this case the esrb gave it a mature rating for blood and gore, violence, strong language, and strong sexual content.

but it cannot ban stereotypes because that would be a violation of the first amendment. because its just an opinion.

thats why we all can post are opinion*(spelling?).

on the other hand the cubans and haitians can complain because they have the right too, so its a lose lose situation.


i think it is just entertainment so if you dont like it dont buy it, then your not supporting the people that made the game you thought was offensive.

the thing i dont get was how the sued for 15,000 bucks. give me a break, they could get more from rockstar
